  • Yield Strength: 550 MPa (80 ksi) minimum
  • Elongation (A): : 30% minimum

Applications

  • Welding of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys.
  • Used in high-temperature and high-corrosion environments.
  • Ideal for petrochemical, power generation, and marine industries.
  • Suitable for welding of alloys like Hastelloy® C-276 and similar materials.

Storage and Handling:

  • Store in a dry, enclosed area.
  • Maintain temperature between 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F).
  • Keep electrodes dry to prevent moisture pick-up, which can cause weld defects.
  • Re-dry electrodes at 250°C (482°F) for 1 hour if moisture absorption is suspected.

Safety Precautions

  • Use adequate ventilation and/or exhaust to keep exposure to airborne contaminants below recommended limits.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, and protective clothing.
  • Avoid inhalation of fumes and gases; use local exhaust or respiratory protection if necessary.
  • Follow safety guidelines provided in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
